Why teaching is important to me?

Teaching is one of the most rewarding aspects of being involved in higher education. It is incredibly satisfying to be involved in someone's formative educational experience and help shape how they will interact with the world.

International Management Capstone

TEP 45-899

This is a capstone course that combines general management consulting with international experience. The course is designed to facilitate the capstone experience by organizing the class in groups and connecting them with international startup companies for a
consulting experience. The goal is to employ groups of students in projects that utilizes the general management skills related to an MBA program.​

Doctoral

**Implications of Entrepreneurship Research for Management**

TEP 47-918

This course will provide students with an overview of how management scholars approach entrepreneurship research from various disciplines, including (but not limited to) organizational behavior, strategy, and finance. Students in the course will learn about the foundational papers in the field and recently emerging streams of new inquiry. Additionally, students practice a variety of skills such as synthesizing research, understanding research designs, and developing research questions that should prove useful, particularly for students interested in careers in academia.

**Seminar on Entrepreneurial Strategy Research**

This course will investigate foundational and contemporary research on entrepreneurial strategy. The goal is to provide students with a robust understanding of the frameworks used by management scholars to analyze entrepreneurial performance. Students will refine various skills from crafting their own research questions, writing manuscripts, and identifying research gaps.
